yo SD kiddos!! you guys have all been getting really good. but i have something to share with you.

7 years ago, I and Kyle Christensen were the first scooter kids to go to Clairy, YMCA Krause family skate park. I took bullshit from Laszlo, and the rest of the staff. I had to personally sit down with the park staff to get scooters ANY respect. We got screwed anytime we went to OB park or any skatepark. Lets get to the point. We built the SD scooter scene. I set up the biggest annual scooter contest. SD1, by myself. Andrew did SD2-6..I got motoworld el cajon to sell scooters. Kyle and I made it so you can could ride your scooters in SD and have it be easier on you then it was on us. Yea you guys get shit from people but Ive been jumped,jacked,and screwed for scootering. so i know how that feels too.

There has been talk that if scooter kids keep acting the way they do at Clairy, they will be banned or scooter sesh only. Guys, PLEASE!! please be respectful to people there. I dont want to see us get the boot from the park. I worked way hard to watch you guys come to the park, throw your trash on all over the ground, crowd the mini ramp to make it the scooter hang out, bagging on others for what or how they ride, NOT PAYING ATTENTION/SNAKING. everyone snakes..but your on a scooter so your automatically going to be blamed. and half of you are like 10 so its double bad for you. You guys just need to treat the park as if it was your home. because for years, it was my home,my escape,my love. Now im not trying to be rude or anything at all, I just want you to know you guys have the right,and the access, to what we didnt, and had to fight for. and this goes for ALL cities,states,countries,older riders. All of us older riders fought to get you the scooter rights. Please treat your local ride spot like your home, dont trash it. Offer to pick up the trash, dont argue when you get kicked out of a session, go to clairy, and have a GOOD time!

well once spring break is over the weekdays wont be as bad cause just last week i went and there were literally only 4 people there. but im done with ALL skateparks on the weekends

Same thing happening down here in AZ. It's not the older kids, its the 10 and under crowd. Who dont have respect for the skate park, they treat as a playground instead of a skate park. Like you said, they bring food and just throw thier trash everywhere. & since we are scooter kids, we automatically get blamed for it 10x worse then anyone else. But my local is threatening to kick the scooter kids out, or have a part of the park reserved for them.

Scooter only seshs would be worse then the good riders pay the price by having to deal with the little shits

And me and Elliot have been counting how many times we get snakes in a run in the mini ramp...its usually on average 7-8 times in about a 1minute run

yea like the only scooterers at c-mont who do that are like the kids who just fucking suck or like kids who are like under 11 years old and dont have sr, so they cant see this, which is bad. i seriously think clary should have like a rule for kids under 11 shouldnt be allowed unless they have proven to be respectful and legit. and like half or most of the new scooter crew that goes to clairmont are really annoying, and it fucking sucks because i remember like in 2010-2011 whenever i went, even on weekedns, there were hardly any scooters there and everyone was chill, but now, like whenever i went in like the past 6 months its been filled with 11 year olds with adhd and kids who just mobb the mini ramp all day
someone oughtta keep these niggaz in check

the exact same with me last summer all these kids started scoters and they just flyout. thats so wierd

This is a good thread. I remember getting kicked out of my local skatepark like 5 times a day. Eventually the cops started getting involved. We kept going and finally got the ban lifted. It sucks to see little punk ass kids disrespecting what we've worked for. Usually i just put the little chillins in check early. you know make them realize its not their park. you could start at the knees.
