i know thats the downside to dslr's the audio sucks but imma get a external mic soon and why shouldnt you get a t2i cause the audio sucks? the t2i is a amazing camera for how much its worth its just really light and has crappy audio but the footage and pictures it puts out are amazing

It's one thing if you take pictures and film but if you buy one solely for filming then you made a poor decision. You can get a VX, GL1/2, DVC, or a DVX for that price.

HD is the way to go haha i sold my dvx to get a t2i and i only bought my t2i for filming because i realized HD has better quailty, alot more reliable, and makes you look more professional if you ever want to get a job in filming or photography like i want to do in the future

yeah but then you have to buy tapes. That gets ridiculously expensive.

Buy them bulk online. You can get 10 Sony premiums for $15 on eBay.

That's different because you're looking to get a job in cinematography/videography. But if someone's looking for just filming solely scootering, SD would be the way to go.

i would rather film anything with my dvx than a 60d or t2i or some shit like that, there all the same to me haha, but i just love dvxs, i have like, a panny fettish, cause they make the best cameras
