Edit:Alright guys he said he would give me the forks back which is all I need cause I don't want both of us to be out on the trade. So he is legit he is sending my forks back and even if he offered to send my deck back i probably would say no cause that's the only deck he has and I want the trade to be fair. He's not unlegit or anything cause he did what he said he would and shipped my stuff is was usps that lost it. Now he's giving me my forks back.

He needs to be stripped of his "legit" title, I've heard nothing but bad things from him, and even the few times I almost began to trade with him, I backed out from how sketchy he seemed. That's bullshit.

first of all its not my fault the package got damaged in YOUR post office and the parts either fell out or were taken out.
second, the reason i sent the v2i was because it was my fault so i reimbursed him, i did nothing wrong here.
im on the legit list because ive done dozens of trades that have worked out fine... im legit

If you don't return his part then you are clearly not legit. It is neither your fault nor his that the parts got lost. It is the shipping company's. Therefore I believe you should send him his parts back. You also probably did not package the product very well if it was damaged.
