Competition Videos VS. Web Edits

Didn't think this would fit in the videos section.
I can't believe it took me this long to realize, but 90% of the time, I prefer to watch competition videos over any old edit. It's much more interesting to see how people actually ride, instead of having time to perfect a trick before they throw it in an edit. Does anybody else feel the same way?

I remember when competition videos used to suck because nobody could throw together a decent run. Now they suck because the riders all do the same tricks and are filled with advertisements for crappy wheels.

Comp vids are for sure better, becasue you dont just see one style of riding from one person, you see many different riders throwing down. But i feel comp. vids dont have as much imagination put into them, over webedits.

Most of the comp vids you see nowadays are made by either fsp or elyts. The editing and song choice on both of them makes me want to go into a fit of epileptic rage.

But the euro street comps are sick.
