Compression for French ID foks

I have an idea for an compression system for frnech i forks

Take 2 starnuts and file down the threads on one of them(if needed, i don't know just assume) put the filed starnut into the fork tube and put the other starnut in the bar. And put the bolt through the starnut in the fork tube, hit the other starnut in the bar and tighten the bolt;)

Tell me if you think this will work ;)

It'll work...be sure to hit in the star nut in the fork from the top to the bottom...not from the bottom (where the fork legs are) to the top...or it'll slide out...
But easy mode...use the cap that comes with your headset...
