compression Question

if u dont use compression it'll come loos ery 5 minuets. if u clam areound the fork it'll come loose every 10 minuets. i was riding like thie for 4 months so i would know

this question makes no sense, you can't even use a threaded fork without a compression sytem.a fork needs some method of compression or it will simply fall out...

Possible to use, but not effectively. Your headset will keep getting loose every few minutes, unless you rig it right.
Or if you use a seatpost clamp, KC corning is using that if i recall correctly..

^ i meant what i said, even if it isn't tight it is still compressing space

and also a seatpost clamp is still a compression system...
 
yea but you have to be skilled and have a really good clamp. get a friend, press bars down - tighten clamp, press - tighten, press - tighten. if you do it right it can work. though this isnt really answering your question because that method is just turning your bars into the compression system. so to answer your question, no you cant use a threadless fork without a compression system but you can use it without buying one.

i suggest buying one though. hope this helped.
