I got myself banned.
Tap the top of your fork with a hammer or channel lock, it should pop up.

same happend to me at the tic comp... and i had to cut my fork

"Yours" doesn't tell me threaded or threadless. If they are threadless all you have to do is tap down on the top cup and lube up the compression ring and work it off if it is threaded you are pretty screwed like Peru said. I tried to help him get his off at TIC and it was a no go.Chuck Norris said:

yea threadless all you have to do is hit the top of the fork with something. the fork will come out and headset will be free.
