Considering Getting Back Into Riding

Hey guys...

It's Tyler. I stopped riding for a while due to being bashed... (haha).
No but seriously, I have embarked on a career in music journalism and furthermore have expanded my network in the music industry to broaden my future horizons. I run a blog, named ShakedownBlog.com, and have written for Jambands.com, Jambase.com, in addition to GlideMagazine.com. I have interviewed members of the Grateful Dead, Giant Panda Guerrilla Dub Squad, The Brew, Cornmeal etc.
Anyways, I have taken a break from riding, and also started a summer job which pays good money that is not related to writing, but allows me to Freelance Write as well. I go to concerts every weekend, and even during the week, then review them. However, this has lead me to see that i have some extra time. In conjunction with this free time, I now have money which could allow me to start riding. All I need now is new forks, but I would also like new bars as I am running stock right now.

I live in the Verona, NJ (NYC area) now.

Most of you probably hated me because I was not up to par with the standard, but I still enjoyed riding.

I now see that I also wasted my time with Nextsport, as they did not give me any room to broaden my level of riding, nor was i ever really considered apart of the "team."

I am friends with some of you on Facebook still, so feel free to keep up with me in that respect as well as twitter.
