You can play it on your mac..just use crossover. I had it on my macbook pro and played CS:S on it for awhile, then my logic board took a shit so now I have a $2300 hunk of metal haha. Crossover costs $70 though.

You add them as a friend through Steam and its easy enough you just type in their steam account, then when they are online you can join their game through it.

you can still play it on a mac, it just takes a little bit of work to get there


->Download Crossover here

->Install Steam through Crossover
-> and then CS:S (obviously)

->Highlight CounterStrike: Source in the "My Games" tab, and click on "Properties" and then "Set Launch Options..."

->Then enter this exactly: -dxlevel 70 -windowed -gl -w 800 -novid

->Click ok on everything and start her up. It runs windowed, (Don't try to change it to fullscreen, it will get messed up) but you can set the quality to max without any real lag.

ive got a previous gen macbook (not the new aluminum ones), and it runs relatively smooth.
