Crown race

any body have any tips for getting a crown race back on a fork?

They make tools to do it but the best way is to find a piece of tubing that fits perfectly around your fork tube (preferably aluminum because it is soft and wont damage your race) and use it to hammer the race down. It needs to be like a foot long.

i take another race thats old put it upside down on the new race then hit it with a hammer

Haha, me and my friend that works in a bmx shop had a really hard time putting the race on my fork. He showed me that the forktube diameter goes up to 30mm gradually instead of rapidly bmx fork, which is why it's easier to put a race on it, and I guess that my next fork is gonna be made like that.
