you can get a mgp team edition or a razor ultra pro and put his good parts on it or you can get him 1 piece bars

grips- odi long necks
bars- any sort of t bars in a shop near you that are cheap. i dont know much about bars, though i ride blunt strippers (they arent t bars but are still good), but id still recommend just any t bars. i live in australia so i dont get all the good bars that usa gets.
clamp- any quad clamp you can find. id recommend defiant

Right, your in the Uk ?
Grips- Odi longnecks or Animal edwins
Bars- personal preferance really, depends on style ( t bars, crow style etc) Id recommend Lgpro bars but there not out yet, so French id alu's, District Alu's , blazer are good for the price 81 customs
Clamp - district double maybe or blazer quad

hope this helped

Hey man

Clamp - JD bug one is a good clamp and wont need changing

Bars - any set of normal bars will fit (sorry to be shameless but there is a great range here - http://www.skates.co.uk/scooter-parts/t-bars-handlebars/ ) any bar that DOESNT say HIC in the title will fit your sons scooter. i would cut down the bars for a little guy like that too as all these bars are made for taller riders, bars should not come above the waist when standing on the deck. EDIT: if you buy him aluminium bars, they will be light but will need a new, oversized clamp.

Grips - take him to your local BMX shop and get him to pick the ones most comfy for him. all of them will fit.

Brake - 81 flex fender is pretty good at the mo, no spring so no rattle. sorry again - http://www.skates.co.uk/scooter-parts/brakes-fenders/

and finally, the most important thing when taking a JD bug to a skatepark is that it is BOLTED. if you havnt already - you need to bolt the folding mechanism so it is solid. you should have got the bolts with the scooter, but if you dont have them, buy some more and bolt it. unbolted decks are unsafe and feel horrid.

hope that helped
