Dat smell

Has anyone smelt something funky after unscrewing a tilt scs? I worked on like 3 tilt scs's today and it started to smell like a fart bomb or some shit. Maybe its just the grease or something..Curious to see what people say

Its the smell of the annodizing, when you crack the bolts loose on any SCS smells like that. Its the smell of the bolts "gulling"/ grinding on the anodizing. Thats why you especially smell it when the bolts were really tight and "crack" loose.
The nasty smelling grease Tilt uses adds to the dat smell.

yeah what that dude said, when you smell that it's usually a sign that the bolts need to be greased up man.

The anti-seize grease they use has an odor to it.

Just be thankful there is grease on the bolts.
