Dear companies who have ads in mags.

cause they simply give a fuck. They are real core companies who believe in the sport.

The shop got sent a bunch of MGP posters/banners one day and NOT ONE OF THEM had ANY rider in it. NOT ONE.

You really can understand if the company you're supporting gives a damn about the sport or not by their ads.

Its more because no one wants to spend the cash to hire someone, I get messages constantly about doing shit but when we start chatting about budgets I get the silent treatment.

bahhahha those madd ads are whack as fuckkkk!

and if scooters gonna be all about rider owned diy shit then shouldn't they be using homies who kinda know photoshop? Homies who kinda know photoshop just need to practice and they should because they care..

or all the riders who care can just start having corps like madd do it all and look what we get lol

The demographic that these magazines are generally aiming toward is children. How many 10-16 year old kids will look at a picture and see that its a little out of focus and say "wow what a fucking terrible picture not even in focus." How many kids are actually going to notice if someone used the wrong "there." Not ready for scooter magazines? Its not skateboarding or Bmx so dont hold it to the same standards.

C'mon Josh, that is no excuse what so ever. I was reading Transworld BMX since I was like 10, I noticed great photos and meh photos. Kids are not stupid and that attitude that we don't have to be as professional as the other sports is counter productive

I agree that the standard of the magazines in the sport so far is some what disappointing, not just the advertisements but also the writing. When I say writing, I'm talking not only about the spelling and grammatical errors, but also the cheesy vibe that the writing emanates.

An example of poor effort in the Australian Dialled is the segments, which are often based around incredibly weak ideas. Take for example the segment called 'Parklife,' which reviews and displays photos of multiple skateparks in a certian state of Australia (one state per magazine). This idea is not only boring, but will also only last a few more issues before all the Australian states have been done, and doubling up on the states will have to begin.
