yeah i get what your saying joe but its just alot easier to manage and stuff and dirt will stick to grip tape easier than the plexi glass and pedal pins
but im thinking about buying some of that slip tape for the bottom of my scooter mabye it will make it easier to grind curbs and stuff so i don't have to wax them all the time....

I like the idea. I've never heard of clear griptape though. But if you can do this, post a pic. I might try if I know that it's possible.

i use to have clear grip but it got realy dirty in about a day and u can get the clear grip at bout any sportinggoods shop but ive nvr seen it at a skateshop

Take off all the griptape on your deck and clean it off.
then put your design down cut a sheet of 1/8 inch plexi glass over it bolt it to the deck and then use pedal pins for grip instead of having to cover the design up with griptape.

I did it yesterday but i don't have a camera only have one on my cell phone so i could send pics to a phone. but thats it... but it works great
