A good Thing to do to retard grind scratches, Put masking tape onto the bottom of the deck. This way you have a nice greasy slide & not scratching. ( I am not to be blamed if any of you split yourselves trying this, it worked for me, you might be different.)

Thats retarded, if you grind a ledge it will rip. Auctually it will grip from stalling a curb or catch a screw when your grinding a box.

i think it will be more cost effective to me because ive never broken a deck anywhere but the back dropouts so illl stick with sean's idea.

i just re-read it a bunch of times...

and the only thing i dont understand now is what the reinforcing plate looks like. is is what stan had? or is it completely different. I dont know what im looking for once i get to the hardware store haha.

still having same questions... with KC pro in the mail i kinda wanna "practice" on my current pro model

stan i tried ur idea, but my brake bolt is to short to put the nut back on.
If the reinforcements is on the out side of the deck put it on the inside and drill the axel hoel a bit bigger so the spacer can fit correctly...

LOL neggaz beat that! but im getting my new Bullet from micro! woohoo

How well does that work, i am looking to reinforce my B and i was thinking if that plate along the side enough or that rectangle piece of metal on the insude of the deck would be better.
PS: im not worried on the weight.

It dosn't matter if its on the inside or outside really. I would do full length re enforcement like his is though, if you only make them like half way you move the stress point to the middle of the deck. Looks sweet as shit too

full deck would make its a lot heavier, but if you dont care for it

a scooter is 6 lbs or less for some people extra weight would build the we ones up some mucle
