Looking to get a new deck. i have size 12 feet but i am only 5' 8 inches tall. right now i'm riding 2009 razor pro i think it measures 20x4 feels a little cramped but i dont want to go much bigger. It has to be light, i weigh 165. The deck will be ridden on plywood only.i live way out in the country.so grinds arent an issue, only be grinding coping. thinkin bout a district but but i'm open to suggestions.

Overkill grayd, that is not what he needs plus he wanted light
OK i am the same height and 10kg less (133 pound), i can ride anything but same deal i only like to ride light parts.
try and ride a 4.5 kg scoot that every kid and his dog buys then a 2.6 kg one that is specifically made for you alone... even 3.5kg to me feels off and that is a low weight for a "solid", aftermarket custom built for average riders, not kids. call me weak but i know what i want and how to achieve the ends.

District decks are a good choice for you;
weight (the same as Promod, different balance;more front orientated on Promod)
mild strength but reliable (unsure on new models but experience will most likely tell me nothing radically different has happened)
familiar feel (razor pro model has close specs but more importantly, feels the same with a much more solid feeling and wider deck)
Decent price (when you compare mass razor products to say, any other mass scooter scooter specific companies; it's laughable)

Some other choices; links are provided so you can look.

Urbanartt Trail deck
Ethic Artefact deck
Unfair BLVD deck

ALL above are lightest and closest to Razopromod in terms of feel overall

ALL else is not worth your time or money, these 4 including new districts are the cheapest yet better than more expensive ones.
(flavor can suck it, they make good grips and reasonable ti bearings nothing else IMO)

Its a scooter so weight isn't too much of an issue as long as the balance is nice. Think about this: why would you sacrifice strength for weight. Like do some pushups or if you live in the country pick up some pigs and deadlift them. The Tsi or anything thats like 22" would feel great with humungous feel haha.

I'd go with one of the new dk2 sigs or just regulars, lindworm, ao lambda or stealth, or 5starr theory as they're all relatively large and nice feel and weight.

Im assuming he's riding a complete pro model, so... wouldnt buying a fully integrated deck... be a bad idea... Like... say nigga buys a lindworm.. how well would that work with a threaded fork, razor bars, and plastic core wheels.

Unfair deck is THE deck too have, call me a weight freak but i love light setups. It makes everything so much more easier. The unfair deck is very cheap (90£) feels soooo good, very very light. Im 5'10 so i am a bit taller than you but i weight around 140lbs and the deck is holding really good. I often break decks very fast but this thing haven't even showed a crack yet.

Lmao for a while i rode a reventon and aos like that but with a random threadless headset. Honestly it wasn't completely horrible except for wheels haha

Edit: but yeah you're right I still wouldn't fully recommend it lol

I would be willing to buy a headset and fork if a got an integrated deck.I have a pair of twan bars i could use but i like the stockers ,so light.Billie Thanks for shootin it straight. I still like district,I like the way theyve marketed themselves since their beginning. Also considering a complete dirt scoot cause of where i live. Just don't want a phase 2 simply because everybody gets those.

go with the unfair blvd or a flavor awakening deck.

if you want a dirt scoot have an idea. get a razor rds scooter and put a headset that nots threaded and then you could put like a baby scs on it and get some new grips. it actually turns out really good my friend did it. he put his spare district bars in a tilt scs.

this is his dirt setup.

Razor rds deck
district al1 bars
ethic grips
fsa headset
razor rds forks
rds wheels
tilt scs
