Hey guys I was thinking about buying a 100mm yak of skatebiz australia, but I've been hearing talk of these defected yaks.

If there are such yaks, could somebody tell me how to find if the wheels are defected or not.

all new yaks are defected. So they have stopped making them.
The ones at manly blades are still good im pretty sure i dunno bout 100mm hold up, but i know my 110mm dont break :)

defected yaks are totaly fucked, i have had experiance... do not buy them! They de-hud, break off and all kinds of shit in the first week... You're better off buy a gm for the back and stock pro for the font... :) peace.

well they're not bad if you WEAR THEM IN and DON'T RIDE SKETCHY BY DOING UNCAUGHT TAILWHIPS you douchetastic dildomongers. I think Tyler Bonner had his for a good few months and he rides harder than most people. All wheels break fast as hell if you ride sketchy, even your precious metal cores; people have anally raped metal cores in 5 days i've heard. And I don't get this defective yak stuff anyway, i don't see why they would not use the same recipe as they used with the originals, unless their management switched and stuff.

your forgetting a few things, tyler boner rides park and yes breaking wheels can be avoiding by not being sketchy in parks. however, try flowfuly ride a 10 set or any street. it just doesnt happen, so what your saying about wheels only breaking by being sketchy is totally wrong.

They suck, even if you're smooth. I rode a couple in the front for a while and they chipped up and got crappy in a month or less. I also put one on my brother's scooter as a back wheel, and all he does is cruise and maybe go off curbs, and it was messed up pretty quick.

they are incredable front wheels, they're clearly going to break if you put them in the back bcuz they are so soft and stuff, but ive been running 110 new yak in the front for like 7 months

they original owners sold the company to some chinese conglomerate, but didnt give them the recipe for the original urethane. hence the chinese f*cked the wheels up, and they are now sh*tty and defective.
