Deck Design... suggestions?

as i said before, i think you should move away from the idea of bolts. just use some flat bar through the middle. its ht best.

Deck Design... suggestions?

Wtf is with the bolts? I don't see any purpose of them, they don't seem to be holding anything, or being a reinforcement in any way. They only weaken the structure so much, and really add a lot of weight. Using two square tubes like that also isn't a very good idea. Why? I'll let you figure that one out.

Well what would you do then seeing thoe ur so smart with being able to make the deck out of all one piece of metal it is the best and strongest way just to use square tubing or something and if its steel i doubt it will break.

I guess I'd have to explain then. Using two square tubes makes the deck either too narrow, too high (by that I mean the vertical dimension, dunno how to express it better) or gives too much space between the tubes, which might make your back wheel bolt bend.

keep it simple. the simplest the design that gets the job done is the best design.

and be careful how you design tight spaces, youve gotta remember to think how its gonna be welded and if the process you use can get into tight spaces.
