just to let you know thats kubuntu not ubuntu, theyre the same except for a few programs and the look of the desktop.

edit: and if you do get one of them, pm me if you need help with something cause theres a few things you should do when you first get it.

edit2: if your not that great with computers, dont ditch windows, just put it on a different partition.

edit: i remebered i had the cd for fedora so that easy its installed now and i fucking love it
looks weird at first but to use it feels really fast and simple as

yea i had fedora too for a little but then i put osx on that drive, when i get it running over kevs sometime ill post a pic of osx on a pc

for the msn thing, if your talking about in kubuntu yea there is kopete. but in fedora im sure there is im just not sure what its called.

edit: well it depends on if you install gnome or kde; kde=kopete, gnome=gaim

Nah you can put MSN and shit in gaim, and you can run it in KDE too...

Never set it up for linux... i didn't look around much to find how to set it up with my graphics card (some intel integrated shit) everything i find it for nvida and ati

fuck this im adding gnome, i cant get emerald themes to apply or whatever in kde. im not sure if its the kde though or im just being retarded

sick sean, i bet your taskbar would look pretty sick if you had it trasnparent with that background but still tinted grey

Wasn't feeling that other theme after a few hours... switched it up again

I think i'll stick with this for awhile

edit: switched the bar at the top alot... looks alot cleaner now without all those menus
