DevinSuperTramp Edit

I think what allot of people are over looking is that for lucky, the video was a total success. From a marketing and many other POV's they are now at the top. Maybe not in our minds, allot of us would rather watch a different edit and ride different parts but for the first time a scootering video is (or was for a short while there) the most trending video on youtube and everyone in this new group of people being introduced to the sport will think of 2 things when the topic comes up. This video and lucky scooter parts. So they could care less if we don't like it. Its still a great success in their minds. I will say i think it was super smart of them. While personally i will go watch something else, this video did incredibly well for itself.

Exactly Scott. The thing is, a lot of people are hating on Lucky for getting a whole new group of consumers, when in reality, it truly is good business. That way they can continue making parts and changing them for the better.

That's where you're wrong. This video just created a whole new group of consumers for them.

The moment i actually start to see new lucky parts being rode in skateparks i will agree with you, but all the other marketing which while has had less outreach, has been geared in the same direction, has apparently done nothing from my view. i have seen twice as many thresholds in fucking australia then any of the new lucky scooter parts, and they are easily brought here in australia

The only lucky parts I will ride are ones made pre-2012. My lsv3 fork for example. I wouldn't buy a new lsv3, though.
