A hipster is basically the opposite of a trend follower, or at least they think they are. And I've never seen anyone that dresses like that riding a fixed gear haha.

As for the whole "hipster" aspect, anyone who claims to be a hipster is usually not a hipster. Blogs claiming to be all hipster, are more just ordinary people thinking they are special for reblogging the most obscure and abstract things they can find. They aren't hipsters, they are dumbasses. Hipsters listen to bands like Sphongle (bird noises and whale noises with a beat), they don't use tumblr, they don't use computers, they live in lofts in shitty areas of town drinking shitty coffee talking about books that suck and their "hidden meaning".

yeah i know what you're saying but what hype beasts do is they buy things because they think the name is exclusive and looked at highly, which I'm pretty sure it used to be, but truly you should just buy it because you like it.
