when i got in trouble with cops for riding at a park they told me it was because the metal decks damage the ramps.
but my countetpoints were:
1. the deck never comes in contact with ANYTHING except for doing grinds and stalls.
2. even when we grind or stall on a metal deck, how is it any different from a skateboard with METAL trucks doing the exact same thing??

u could see he didnt have an answer, he called me a smartass and wrote me up for insubordination (idk if i speled that right)

no actually its because most skate parks insurance companies dont cover scooters, just bikes, rollerblades, and skateboards, so if someone gets hurt and sue the insurance company wont cover it and they will lose all of there money

someone i talked to said that if the insurance covers bikes, it also covers scooters.
but theres a park near me that lets in bikes but wont let in scooters

You'll find most indoor parks are owned by skaters, it doesn't really have anything to do with ramps being destroyed or liability, its just the fact they dislike scooters in most cases.
