difference between wheels

hey everyone, I just have a quick question. I'm using razor pro wheels right now but one of my friends uses wheels from an older scooter. I'm not sure what kind they are but they say that they are 88a urethane and they feel so nice to ride on. so of course I want something similar. I looked at some other threads about wheels and everyone was going nuts about protos and eagles. I'm not a serious rider so I don't want to spend that much money. I have narrowed it down to 3 choices. green machines, yak low profiles, yak high rebound. yakresearch said that the lows and USAs are made with 85a urethane and that the yak high rebound are 78a. one of the websites that sells GMs said that they were 91a urethane which sounds way too hard to get good grip and have a nice feel. From this it looks like the lows would be the best choice for me because they are the closes to 88a and they come in 110mm. but all of the threads I see in here say that they suck and GMs are the best.

The only places I ride are at a smooth cement skatepark and an indoor wooden park so I'm not too worried about needing a hard wheel to endure rough surfaces.

I'm sorry about posting another wheels thread but there really aren't any good threads comparing the pros and cons of the different kinds of wheels.

im pretty sure green machines arent made any more. but if yaks are your options, than get the yak usa's. the rebounds are way too soft and they chunk very easily. and the cores on them suck. the usa's have a much stronger core and much better urethane

what about the low profiles? yakresearch said that the lows and the USAa are 85a. the only difference I can see is the core. I'm not too rough on wheels so core strength shouldn't be too much of an issue.

Get usa's. Theyre supposedly a much better wheel, and i've ridden low pros and the urethane is a different mixture than USA's. It is really really slow.

they had green machines on amazon but it's hard to tell if they are selling one or two or ten wheels. I'm not sure about them though because of how hard they are. I like the softer ones because they are much quieter to ride on. The USAs are out of my price range. 15 per wheel is too much.

green machines are good. I have one and i recommend it. If you do get a yak don't get one of those 78a ones. I made that mistake and it only lasted 2 weeks untill i lost a huge chunk.

See if you can find those old yellowy orange plastic wheels, they have 5 spokes and if you hot glue the core they should be pretty good.
