District clamps comparison?

Hey i wanted to know the difference between the district double clamp and the district double LIGHT clamp.
The visual differences are easier to see. One has cutouts -__-
but
-which one clamps better with district bars or HIC?
-I see the double light clamp has less metal, but costs extra.
- and are the double lights more shiny and anodized than the other?

same thing happened with mine the threads stripped inside it and it got really messed up

frid has a threaded steel insert so no strippin there, the district strip but i drilled mine out and rethreaded it for bigger bolts, you can tighten the SHIT out of it and it wont strip

You guys gotta use grease on the Clamp bolts and they won't strip.

Without Grease the threads on the Steel Bolt bind in the threaded aluminum clamp and won't allow the clamp to fully tighten and then when you apply more torque to the Bolt...snap!! stripped Head or stripped threads.

my mate had one and the threads on the clamp itself stripped, on both of them, at the same time, they were brand new, and the first time he tightened them onto his bars they snapped, they're crap
