does the district fk1 v2 fork work with hic?

yes and no, if you don't cut the cap off of it no, if you cut the cap off and install a starnut yes.

What you could do is buy a bolt, nut and washer, then run it through the HIC and fork. You would need a long ratchet to get into the fork an tighten but it wrks. I did it with a stripped Phoenix fork.

just cut the top of your fork and put the starnut in.

Exactly. I put the bolt straight down and the nut in the fork, but direction doesnt matter. Just tighten it up well. it will never come loose.
