DK2-i and District Headset Problem

I have the District integrated headset and it doesn't work well. If I tighten it, it catches and stops spinning. If it is loose, obviously there is a wobble. And after tightening, the headset will come loose in one session. Anybody else having problems?? I have tried lock-tite and different torques.

i know it sounds dumb, but are your bearings in the headtube the right way round.
i come across it at work alot (at work - bikeshop) as people countlessly but headset and bottom bracket bearings in the wrong way around.

what compression are you runing and what forks also?

I tried the bearings in both cups. I used a VertX SMX for a while and now I am using a DSA Cambo. Tried a different bearing race, noo luck.

I use SCS.

in both cups? i mean are they upsidedown as in the chamfer should be pointing INTO the headtube on the bottom and top bearing.

use the race that comes with the district headset

Proto SCS.
I know how to install bearings and stuff. I am 17 years old, my friend. I have never had this problem, though.
I have read that certain headsets don't work well.

Make sure you have your compression ring in i had the same problem

maybe the bearings are worn out, is it a old or highly used headset?

I never got a new headset. No joke, I didn't do anything it is suddenly perfect. The headset was from December (Christrmas).
