Just do it, it works. I would try to get the fork tube to be longer though, so that it goes past where the slits stop, kinda reinforcing the bars at the bottom.

so all i do is cut part of an old fork tube were its threadless and place it in before i put the bars in?

No, you put the piece of fork tube into the bars so that it's flush at the bottom. Then you put it in the SCS as you normally would.

dude your retarded. take the threadless part of the fork you cut and put inside the bottome of your bars where the slit is. then put in te scs and fuckin ride. you wont break your shit
