do ppl accualy have copper 1 peice bars?

actually at the real ride comp i saw some full copper bars that scooter zone bars but they werent welded they had all these pipe fittings on them its hard to explain but they were weird. i thought u could only saughter copper?

copper can be welded too. its just that copper tubings main use is for plumbing. in plumbing, welding copper would be extremely inefficient compared to soldering. thats why people generally relate copper to soldering.

i went to Lowes and bought 20" of 3/4" copper for $9.00 and I cut it down to 16".I bought copper b/c metal is too heavy, pvc is plastic (duh :p), and it too hard to find aluminum. Ive been riding my copper bars for a week and there still good...no bends or n e thing. knock on wood. lol

i think its funny how people refer to steel as metal and everything else like it isnt. copper, aluminum and steel are all different types of metals

and steel isnt heavy if u just use it for a crossbar, and its like 1000000x stronger than copper so if i was u i would have used steel copper that just is ...

You could make one piece if you wanted it to just bend in all directions
But it wouldn't be to bad to reinforce t-tube and stuff

cause i can get copper at home depot. if i actually wanted to order off the internet for a 4130 crossbar i would just get more metal and make my own bars.
