Do you lend people your scooter?

How do I politely decline without seeming rude? Do you let your inexperienced friends ride them? just curious.

i used to but i let a skater friend use it for one second and he somehow fucked it up

I always just tell them its broken, and my wheels are dehubbing or something. I never let people ride my scooter, unless it's another scooter rider, or a close friend.

oh because I was planning on lending my friend a scoot so we can get around (she can't skate) but i'm not sure if it's possible for her to mess it up, even if shes not doing tricks or whatever on it hahaha.

I let some friends borrow it at the park but i never let them keep it over their house or anything, a couple times i've let people use it they've dehubbed my wheels or broken something.

But if you don't want them using it just say your parents won't let anyone ride it or you don't want it to get messed up.

A guy at Dandy Skatepark (Aus Park) he asks kids for a go, grabs their scooters and rides off, happend to three of my mates, one got it back.

that's what i do one of my friends that sucks and can't even land tailwhips all the time uses my spair set up when ever he's chilling with me cause he can't afford a scoot. if she's a good friend and you guys want to ride around just let her.

but if it's ass holes at the park just keep earbuds in and act like you didn't hear them.

I usually let people try and trade with their skateboard for a minute or two. when im bored with their skateboard (2 mins later) i stand there with it and they get the point that i want it back and are cool.

i can understand either way though
