Dominator Thread-less Forks or District FK-1's?

I am getting an east to west standard compression system for christmas and i haven't decided which forks to get. i already have dominator threaded forks and i absolutely love them, they are super strong and super sturdy. i love these forks. But since i am converting from threaded compression to scs, i need to get new forks. So i am asking which forks are better, i know the dominators are really good forks, but i want to try out the district forks now, and i am wondering if the district forks are just as strong as the dominators? Oh, and one more thing, would i have to cut 2 inches off my bars if i get the east to west scs to maintain my same bar height like the proto scs?
Thanks,

yes you would have to cut your bars 2 inches, and you dont have to cut a slit.
and you dont have to buy new forks because you can fill the threads of your fork with jb-weld, and they will work basically as good as any threadless fork. you will just need to install a starnut in them.
and if you were to get district forks, i would get the fk-2's, they are stronger then the fk-1's

I wouldn't get proto strikers they suck and bent and seperate...Go on vertxscooters.com
they have really good forks for cheap...waaay better than proto striker
and they have an insert for a starnut

you don't have to have a threadless fork to run a threadless compression unless your running a king headset
