Double fingerwhips

Alright.. I really want to learn these!! i can fingerwhip flat and have them dialed all over the place but when i go to do a double fingerwhip i just f**k up and go all over the place... I have no idea what I am doing wrong and no idea what I need to be focusing on when doing these...
It would be helpfull if i could get a few tips on how to do them

I focus on catching the bars as fast as possible so i can keep my scooter level. Otherwise it'll just fly away and i woont be able to flick thhe second whip fast enough.

Just hit the deck a bit harder haha, it's surprisingly easy. Maybe pull it up a bit more than usual too

what helped keep my double fingerwhips under control when I was learning them was timing getting my hand back on right when the first whip was exactly half way around and then using my wrists to finish the rotation.
