Downhill Racing/Flatground Racing w/ Obastcles-Competitions

I made a thread about this about a year ago, and I still think it will be a good idea for skootering. I do believe it will lead to new wheel and bearing companies/ideas for the art of skootering.

If a competition was put together with prizes would you attend?

I think this is a great idea for the progression of skootering, in becoming more diverse.

Any Ideas?

yeah downhill would defenitely be way better. it'll probably be a while before anyone will host an event like this. me personally i'm more broke than Ron Jeremy at Mardis Gras...

Hi, I'm new here and I know this is an old thread so forgive me if that's against policy but anyway we have been doing downhill scootering comps for awhile now and they are a blast and pretty wild and extreme. We've even devised ways to make it so the younger and older can compete together. We have a new comp each month and everyone looks forward to it.

Kids still hang and practice other skills but once the comp starts, its all business! We do teams and singles formats. Food and parties after.

LOL...we had one really godforsaken stack on the last comp. The fact that he walked away from it was a miracle. The fact that he actually rode better after that and got the Best Rider of the Day award was amazing!
