Drivers test

taking my drivers test...Again tomorrow, hella nervous. I waited until i was 17 to get my permit so i didnt have to pay for a driving school/instructor. Because i didnt get an instructor there were a few things i did wrong on the test. when i was parallel parking i did it perfect, first try.....but i didnt use my turn signals. same with the k turn. i also didn't put my hand on the passenger headrest to look back while in reverse. stupid shit. i drove an hour down there and an hour back on the highway but apparently im not good enough for my license?
anyone have any tips?

Practice the same way as you would take the test.

I aced it first try, the written and the drive test.

... They make you use signals for parallel parking now? I passed my test first try last April and I didn't have to do that.

K turn just remember left right left for signals. Don't forget to look over your shoulder too. Stop signs, stop AT the white line and inch forward. They try getting people for that a lot.

yea i guess its different in new jersey, but either way its bull. and atleast now that i know what i did wrong i should be fine.
any tips for getting closer to the curb berfore k turns

Dude I'm from NJ lol. That's why I was curious. Same test state-wide.

Aim your mirrors a little lower and you'll be able to see how close you are to the curb.

oh yeah that is weird, i didnt realize you were from nj.
and i meant pulling up to the curb

are you fucking kidding me? they actually failed you for that? that's a comfort preference, not a goddamn safety rule

anyways, just drive like an old stickler fuckhead and you'll be fine. Lower the mirrors and use your mirror to parallel park. You'll see how close you are to the curb and when to cut it. always use your turn signals, always go slightly below the speed limit, make sure you come to a DEAD STOP at stop signs, always turn into the lane closest to you, always check your blindspots, always keep both hands on the wheel, have your hands at 9 and 3, relax, and don't hit anything...

you'll pass if you follow all that. took me 3 tries to get mine. I had a "rolling stop" on my last stop (bull----- it just wasn't as long as the other ones) and also failed for not pulling into the closest lane on a turn because I knew I needed to be in the further lane. Best of luck!

Was about to take my test but I haven't been able to drive for 3 weeks and probably can't for another 6-8 weeks.

My mum won't take me driving anymore cause I took some kid in a miata off the lights in her car and got up to 130kmh before the merge.
