I know this is in the wrong section but this needs to be seen by a lot of people. Recently (January 29, 2010) I was and two friends were at Drop-In skatepark. This skatepark only allows boards and blades and has a bike night once a week. Since i was there with about 30 other skaters for an event the owner was cool with letting us in. Riiding the park was pretty fun and I enjoyed it. When i came out to blow my nose the owner asked me if letting scooters in permanently would make profit and if people would. My first thought was too post it on SR and make a poll. So basically what im trying to say, if you live on the east coast, would you go? If i can get good results from this thread and poll the manager will consider letting us in permanently and it would be a great way to spread the sport.

Here is the site- http://www.dropinskate.com/

If you would go please fill out the poll.

Edit: Listen up. I recently called Drop In and they are total fucking DOUCHE BAGS. I called them twice and they cant keep their story straight. They told me that the boss was in Vermont Jet skiing with his girlfriend the first time i called. Then today they said he was in Rome with his fiance. About 10 minutes later Alan Petukh calls and they start to bullshit to him that the boss is jet skiing with his girlfriend in South of France. How gay is that? If they dont want us in at least they can tell us straight up. Fuck. Please call Drop in and annoy the fuck out of them until they let us in. PLEASE.

I wrote them a letter like a month ago, and told them that it would make them a profit, and a whole poop load of other parks a letting in scooters including Skatepark of Tampa, and Camp Woodward is having a scooter camp. Then I called them today and they said they are working on it and I should check back for an update. I was so happy since I live like three minutes away from the place. Then I go on SR and see this, what a coincidence. Phil, Kyle told me about the SF night but I didn't think the guy would allow scooters. This is gonna happen guys.

the minipipe has some vert to it, just noticable by a bit. theres a huge pyramid gap maybe 20 feet bank to bank which i almost got, theres a rollin to get speed. theres a spine about 5 feet high give or take leading into a wallride, there are 2 vert wallrides there is also a sick street course with a nice rail. alot of the stuff can be moved around so i u get enough people to help out u can make something nice out of it.
