dying grips

alright quick quistion. i got some addict grips and want to die them black ive died wheels so i know to use boiling water,rit dye, and all the procedures of doing it i just don't know how long i should leave them in for. and yes i know they will get softer from the boiling water

please help

it probably wont take long to do it because of how soft and thin the material is so i would leave it in the boiling water and die, for 15 to 20 min

it works, but the dye wears off like crazy all over your hands
