dylan you scan your film right? if you do, what type of scanner do you have....? and do you develop your own film?

i scan my 35mm film prints only i have a epson stylus cx4600 and it just happened to have a photo scan function
if your actually seeking out a scanner for photo scans you can get a amazing one for around $200 i get my medium format film scanned and then put onto a cd because they have way sharper scanners than mine and it would cost more to get every single print printed so i could scan them and they would look worse
its about $12 to get my medium format film developed into negatives, scanned, and put onto a cd and thats per roll only 12 pictures.....i might need to look into a negative scanner soon haha

could you link me to this amazing one for only $200 haha all the reviews ive read the really good ones cost upwards of $500 so yea.
do you just get your shit developed at walmart or something cause i heard they will put it on a cd too?

ever tried scanning negatives? i've got the same printer/scanner, and i can't figure out scanning negatives with it so i always end up having to scan prints, too.

Speaking of all this talk about scanners, my dad has a scanner for scanning the negatives (It's some canon one) that he doesn't use anymore since he switched to digital, so I dunno if he's willing to put it up for sale or anything but I could try and find out I guess (if anyone's interested)..

I love that last picture in that set you posted though, looks really cool for some reason.

eric im not very knowledgeable with scanners post a thread on skateperception and buy the scanner used
i get my 35mm developed at walgreens and i get send my medium format out to a specialty lab because of the film type
i dont get my 35mm on a cd because prints come standard
and sean ive had no luck with scanning negatives i wish i did because that would cut the price of developing in half
theres a feature in the scan mode called film but it never will let me highlight it so i think its for another scanner

yeah i've messed around with that but i've never ended up with anything thats usable, so i guess you've had the same problems too.
