Easiest way to get grips off of bars?

I want to get my ODI Longnecks off of my old broken bars, but I'm having a tough time getting them off.

I didn't glue them on or anything, I just slipped them on and they stayed.

To get them off , use something liquid or an air compressor ( if you have one ) . Water works fine. To get it back on your new bars , use alcohol or something similar which evaporates quickly. Don't use water because if you use it , it takes longer to evaporate and your grips will be sliding up and down your bars and you won't want that I think.

WD40 to get the grips off, hairspray to make them stick onto your grips. Hairspray is a type of pva glue, thats what makes our hair stand up when we use it, but the hairspray comes out with water. So if you want to take them off again just use water.

spray olive oil on to the handle if a fork or spoon (doesnt matter)
slip it under the grip and push it around the grip it should start to get slippery after about 10 sec and just pull them off

Eh, don't do the rolling method. That tends to stretch the grips and will give you throttle grip, at least for a bit. Just use that little tube thing that comes with the WD40 and stick it as far under the grip as you can and spray it. Do that for both sides and start twisting.

Does anyone have any tips on not getting throttle grip. one if my grips keeps on coming off and i tried to fix it 2 or 3 times.

I always use hot water, does the job pretty easy. Other than that theres wd40 like alex said that just get it off pretty good.

the best was i find, is get windex, peel back the grips a lil bit, and squirt some down there, just keep spinning until they come off.

Yeah use water pull back the grip and pour water in. then work the water then put some in the other end of grip if needed then should slide right off with some force. (You can also use water to put grips on if there tight. Wet the inside of the grip then push on then hit hanging enf with palm should slide on but the water will take a few hours to dry!!!)

air compresser to get them off then microwave the grips for about 45 seconds to get them nice and soft, they basically comform to your hand/the bar when hot
