your right.. the snare is kinda lame. Percussion is where I lack skill. Basslines/wobbles are more my thing.

Check out Loopmasters, they have some really nice samples! I recommend the Essential House Drumworks pack, it has loads of good stuff in it.

But I was thinking of what you said... So I touched up this old song I made and uploaded it. I added lots of 'oomf' to the kick and snare. Some beats I make are good, and others (like the ones in 8005T) dont turn out well.

gotcha. Got a good mastering vst (thats free)? I just use maximus and it doesnt always get the job done
