i think people want sponsers to get free parts, or a big discount, like greg for example, gets all the wheels and people are like omg i want those i want those...and people getting bars and forks and other random parts
or.. you could get a damn job.

I dont see why it would bother you, alot of great videos are sponsor videos. I loved filming for my 288 sponsor vids, and i ride purely for fun. Plus the dream always motivated me to try new things. <3.
same and i know that i want a sponsor to get out to contests to ride and get scooters when mine break and shittt

littleman, the thing is watch gregs videos. Look how devoted he is to the sport, a sponsorship means nothing if you dont like what your doing. Greg worked for it, he deserves it.

I'm so underground yo, I don't make sponsor videos, hell I don't even make ANY videos, I'M A SUPERYEAH.

I know I can't ride all that great and the only things you get out of a sponsorship is free parts once in a while, a part in a team vid and you profile on a website or something.
My scooter is dialed, I haven't got anyone to film me, and my name is on here. Checkmate?

Ive you dont bring anything to the sport then you dont deserve to be sponsored. Period.

I showing people cool tricks is NOT bringing somthing to the sport. I mean most people who are actually getting free stuff do work for it. Its not really "free".

^ Ahuh. At the moment I'm one of the main designers for Scooters Only Australia. I've designed the new wheels and logos, thus getting free products which I then review and give feedback on for future products or improvements. :)

sponsor videos havee been blowing up in the video gallery lately and i do happen to be one of the people posting those videos but honestly iv been riding for about 3 years now and up until recently scooter teams consisted of flip whores and just crazy park riders, but now alot of companies have been constructing teams consisting of alot more street riders(example: inward scooters) and i really liked the idea of that and that is what motivated me to make a sponsor video. I had a strong interest in the direction that a specific team/company was going so I made a video to show my interest.

I honestly dont believe i am the most talented kid a ride with or anything but im the only one whose "sponsored" or is on "flow" for a company.
but i think i work really well helping company's out and being a good advertisement.

Ill always rep scooters to people.
ive gotten like 5 or 6 locals to buy eagles before i ever got on the flow team or anything.
and ive gotten a few kids to get rads
and some locals to get inwards.

Being sponsored is Def the best thing that has happened to me riding wise. BUT i do belive there are people that deserve it.
For instance Matt Grippi. Local kid who SHREDS and rides super clean and kills street. Parents give him NO support and he has recently gotten a little bit of free stuff. and he deserves more tho.

thats just my view on sponsorship.

Its more "knowing" people than it is being a kickass rider.
Look at monky. that kid rides SOOOOO much better than 99% of people on here.
and is only hooked by scooterzone and barely gets free stuff
but he doesnt care about coming on here and posting. he just loves riding

idk if any of that was relevent. but i felt like talking
:)
