Experience of using a kick scooter

Hi Everyone,

I am currently trying to design, engineer and manufacture a kick scooter made in the UK with a distinctly UK based culture, history and lifestyle theme.
 Used for urban recreation and commuting; ‘personal transport’.
 Build a strong and contemporary brand awareness and product base with best performance, aesthetics and design.
 Target the adult ‘urban professional’ audience, (18 to 40 years?).

It must also incorporate a foldable two wheeled mode of transport, propelled by the kicking motion of the leg and foot. I will export 80% of production to primarily BRIC; (Brazil, Russia, India and China), plus USA as I have found that there is a niche market for high-end kick scooters.

I would like to hear more about your experience of using kick scooters, what innovative features do you desire that the current market does not have?

The whole aim of the project is be able to design a kick scooter that has a combination of high performance, quality and aesthetics superior to the existing products so your feedbacks and comments can be really helpful. After all, this is your chance to express your concern and issue regarding kick scooters that can be addressed by my me. I will show CAD renderings later.

Also could you please do the following surveys please it will help understand more about the target market and their needs.

Hello, I think you are confused on who uses this forum. We ride freestyle scooters not scooters for commuting. I hope that you do not confuse the market for high end kick scooters (referring to freestyle scooters designed for tricks) with the high end scooters designed for transportation. I know there is a select market for high end scooters but it may not be the type you are looking to design and produce.
