You guys are crazy. Back before metal cores I still would only break my red-on-blues plastic Yaks once in like 4 months and it was because I would crack the whole core out. That pile of wheels would last me forever.

Not saying I would go back to that by choice, mind you.

yeah i dont know why yaks get so much hate, they're actually really good wheels. my friend's a flyout whore, and his fleurs (110mm) are about 88mm now, with 1 chunk. He's ridden them for like 5 months now

I got myself banned.
i had my low pros for like 6 or 7 motnhs before i traded one and lost the other one
but i got them from the SR store like a year before it closed so they were probably better quaLity than the current yaks

Made these earlier today. Made out of a super dank polymer. Extra phat so that they sit flush with a TSI Flight deck.

I wouldn't even get proto wheels. They either dehub or some come ovalised. Idk what the hype is.

Well besides being the best wheels in existence, they're the best wheels in existence.

All the kids breaking them do so because of misuse or landing badly. The Proto Team riders don't have half as many problems with their Proto parts because they don't land sideways or sketchy and they go billions times harder than most of the kids breaking Proto parts. (Most of the kids)

Getting these for x-mas:

It's gonna be good to be on a fresh set of sliders. It's been too long.

Mine came ovalized. I don't even care though, they're still the best wheels I've ever owned. By far.

One small strip of electrical tape fixes that problem, but the overall feel and quality of PROTO wheels makes up for that small problem.

its called shit happens, a few wheels out of any batch of any maker tend to fuck up. if any of you knew how hard wheels are to make perfectly and especially for scooters, you would not complain for what we have.
