Chrome apex bars are painted chrome, not very well, also watch out with your scooter on ledges etc when falling or like mine the chrome will look awful after a few weeks.

I'm pretty sure they are dipped cause the end of the bar has a hole for a hook to go through ..

They aren't painted chrome, they have a real chrome plating finish.
