I don't think it looks mediocre at all, it's just a really simple color scheme. As much as I don't like Blunt, Envy, Fasen, etc, the Fasen line has a lot of little details that set them apart. And the clamp is ingenious, it's an idea that has floated around for years but no company has actually put it into usable production until now.

The Odyssey elementary stem came to my mind because it uses a wedge, I remember that they had problems on the first versions that wouldn't hold the bars and steerer tight enough, hope this one doesn't have that problem.

I should have worded that different because I legitimately was asking a question and then said "wtf". You can't honestly tell me that he knew anything about that deck in terms of strength or how it was made. "The welds are as strong as Pheonix and District.", the welds will be as strong as the welder that welded them are. Also I know I'm not an expert.lol
