BARS/FORKS/:
fitting 110 wheels on stock pro model forks: okay the pro model fork comes with a black cap witch you do not need pop it out with a screw driver. Hammer the screw driver on the edge of the black cap on your pro model fork and pop it out it may take some time but u will get it out. Or you can take a stock pro model handle and stick it in your pro model fork and hammer the handle down and it will easily pop out the black cap.
installing threaded forks: you need a pipe wrench and take off your bars put the pipe wrench on the nut and loosen it all the way and take out your fork.
installing aftermarket bars: take off your old bars by getting a allen key and unscrew the bolts on your clamp and slide them off. Then take off your clamp put your clamp on your new bars and put them on the fork and tighten your clamp and go ride.
threaded bars: no bars are threaded there's no need for bars to be threaded because the clamp holds them together.
bars without slits and with slits : as of now the only reason to not have slits on your bars is for scs if your not riding scs you should have slits because when your clamping your bars regularly and you have no slits i wont have anything to compress and clamp onto and it will move around and your bars wont be straight with your fork but on the other hand if your riding scs you wont have a problem riding without slits.
bars wont go all the way down on fork: If this is happening to you don't fear just take a hacksaw and cut the slits on your bars bigger.
Compression:
installing inverted compression easy way: go to a bike shop with your bars and your1-1/4 star nut tell them to install it 3 inch's in your bar. after that go home and install your bars on your thredless fork and put the compression bolt threw your forks with a washer and find the starnut and tighten it (u need a thredless headset fsa headsets works grate with this compression)
installing scs: first put a 1-1/8 star nut a inch in your fork then put the scs over your threadless fork then when that's on drop your headset cap in and the scs compression bolt on and tighten it until no more movement is in the headset then put your bars on then tighten your scs bolts and your good to go (but u need to cut your bar slits off but scs adds 2 inch's back on so it will be the same hight as before)
brakes:
fixing wobbly brakes: Okay take out your back wheel and take a flat head screw driver you need about like 2 nickels. Take your screw driver and put it under your brake spring and pull the brake spring up and put 2 nickels under it then it should not wobble any more. But if you have a hot glue gun hot glue it on and then it wont fall out i recommend doing this.
Headsets:
threadless headsets and threaded forks: If you have a threadless headset it WILL work on a threaded fork the way that this works is the headset tighten nut tightens the threadless headset with the threads on the fork.
integrated headsets: If you have a 1-1/4 integrated headset it wont work unless you have a integrated head tube.
