i tried using the brake. its the opposite. you go UP instead of down. fakie manuals are soooo hard.

sometimes i put my feet in a ski stance while doing them, try that. otherwise its just all practice basically.

For me, there isn't any particular way to do it.
My foot over the brake does help, but fakie is pretty much my normal way of riding, and i can control my foot pretty well.
Just 180 and lean back, hahaha

Yeah, you gotta lean back mad far. It seems like you'll be leaning back way too far haha. And I do it totally brakeless, both feet on the deck.

oh yeah, i was talking about doing them while already in fakie. for 180 fakie mannys i have my feet like they usually are, goofy + foot over the brake, but move them up a bit. i 180 and just try to hold my body position.

normally if u act like your doing a long slider and just lean back slightly more u end up with great balance. this helped me a lot

I can put my foot over the break (for 180s into and straight fakie mans) and still balance them. They feel better since you're in a more normal stance but you've got to be super careful with brake contact. Just practice and get used to jumping back.
