Filing down a Proto Senior

So i got my hep greg treshold and i really want to use my senior with it. Does anyone know how to file it down the right way and does it affect the strength of the fork?

What do you mean filing it down, the legs or the forktube?

do you mean cutting it because it is too long? if so just use a hacksaw and then file it to make it even, and smooth. or use a mechanical saw if you have one

no, i mean the legs. They are too wide, so when i spin my bars they scratch the down side of the neck

ohh lol thats fucked. try using a metal file. but it might fuck up the forks

My senior works fine on my hep thresh, but I did have to file it down to use on my old envy. What I did was just get a big flat metal file and file down the corner, just stay clear of the welds

i had this exact problem. just use a metal file, it won't do anything to the strenght.

My friends has the same issue.. once you file it its fine. Strengthwise its still good too
