Download a clip of filmburn over black and then overlay it. You have to keyframe it and shit to make the opacity right, just look it up on youtube man. It will help you.

ive already done it would you be able to check out my youtube and look at the most recent video its me kinda testing it out i only use it at the end though but if you want watch the whole vid ahha and if you could you give me some tips to make it any better cheers

EDIT: i know the clips suck but just testing out the editinng loll

It wasnt horrible, but it didnt fade in or out. It just like flashed in and out. Try to like ramp the opacity, so it gradually goes up and down.

ok so at the beggining have it less opaque then normal then less opaque at the end again right?

Just put the filmburn clip to upper video layer, use chroma key to take the black off and fade the clip in and out. Then play with opacity. Thats premiere but it should work same in Vegas.
