Filming Lines?

Yeah that is true, but how do I go about it from the start of recording to the end of recording?

you need a handle and fisheye.
this is how i do it.
1. press record
2. make the rider go
3. have the camera low to the ground and pointed up at the rider keep them in frame (use a skateboard with nice smooth wheels on to follow them)
4. once the rider has done the line stop the skateboard and then press the button to stop recording

and remember to keep the camera steady!!!

-get the camera knee height or below.NOTHING OVER THE KNEE
-fisheye, STEADYSHOT OFF!
-i prefer to stop where the rider finishes and not to follow
-try your best to be STEADY
-work out your best/safest route through the line and avoid bumpy paths and rocks.
-take advantage of your fisheye and try to get as CLOSE as you can with the rider.
-always take into account whether the rider is goofy or regular.
-i like keeping the rider in the MIDDLE frame.
PRACTICE ALL THESE TIPS!

and and avoid being behind the rider. try be side by side the rider! :)

Yeah I only got an 18-55mm lens as of now. But when I get a fisheye I reckon it will be much steadier. What do you reckon.

i reckon that you cut your mates head off a few times in those clips.

and try to keep your hands more steady when you follow

I filmed the first 3 clips, my filmed the others. On the first clip, I intentionally cut off his head.

buy a skateboard, keep the center of the lens pointed at their knees, dont look at the LCD screen, focus on where your lens is going.
