on my forks the weld are in the same areas as SR forks. that makes SR forks the same as mine.. but SR's are still better

Uh, well, except that you're using the same insecure legs as the pro fork, just with random ass tubing thrown on the sides. How does the tubing help the forks at all?

yeah dude, you gotta think about this logically - if all you did to the fork was weld two pipes on either side of the original legs, all it's gonna do is add weight (and compromise strength because when you weld stuff together it loses some of it's strength.
