Fixing a wobbly/loose brake spring?

I noticed the other day my brake spring is loose and is rubbing against my back wheel which is slowing me down and creating unnecessary wear.

Is there any fix to this? Tightening the bolt that holds the brake in place didn't do anything.

Take the spring out and put it in a vice and bend it so it's tighter with pliers.

jam a coin under the spring, it doesnt hold up forever tho, i only use it if i have no tools on me or something

I use jondoggs method, i hate taking my brake off. i just put a nickel under it and hot glue it or something.

u can bend the spring more or put a 10 cent peace under it or a bearing

use a spring from a nother scooter i'm sure you have one

bend it back with the vice or vice grips either ones , coin method or somethimes i use paper as a last resort if im like at the park or something

i use a bearing so its proper springy and has lasted me more then a year...................best method i think .

yeh, use some pliers and squeeze the two end of the spring toghether, u can also use a coin on each side

Hmm i mite try this coin thing. My brake just sits on my wheel haha. Good for manuals tho.
